The focus of Roland's work is the integrated management of natural resources by using science and technology as key drivers for managing risk and unlocking value.
Since completing his PhD, Dr Barbullushi has divided his career between conducting scientific research and providing unique insights to global sophisticated investors, companies, and countries. In his quest to understand the geoscientific laws that drive the evolution of our planet and the natural world and the economic principles that underpin the commerciality of the natural resources, he has learned the importance of Earth science and engineering in generating superior returns for investors. Through working closely in integrated teams, he has become familiar with many disciplines - an experience that has made the challenges of integration and of natural resource efficiency enhancement familiar to him.
